Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to manage daily cash operations, including bank transfers, deposits, disbursements, and other financial activities within our banking framework. Key Responsibilities: Accurately record cash flow transactions in our accounting software, including cash transfers and autopayments.Download and analyze daily bank activities from company accounts.Conduct standard bank reconciliations and monthly cash reconciliations.Generate detailed reports and analyses to support the Accounting and Finance Department.Oversee the payment run process, ensuring data integrity, check printing, and ACH payment processing.Assist in the application and depositing of cash receipts for accounts receivable and miscellaneous receipts.Support initiatives for cash-related fraud prevention and compliance.Ensure adherence to retail cash handling standards and procedures.Manage HQ petty cash ordering and fulfillment.Utilize accounting software to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.Maintain confidentiality of corporate information and implement safety protocols like regular database backups.
