You will frequently review and consult with the draftsmen until the drawings are ready for approval;During project preparation, you will ensure the technical quality and progress. You will achieve this by drafting specifications for key components, creating operation manuals, and aligning your design with specifications, regulations, and approval requirements;Your project will be deemed successful if your team collaborates smoothly and efficiently, the client is satisfied, and the project is completed within budget and according to expectations.What You'll DoNexton has been active for over 20 years in designing, realizing, and maintaining complete, smart electrical installations in the entertainment sector, healthcare, special projects, and the revitalization of real estate. As an Electrical Installations Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical installations. No two projects are the same! One moment you might work on a large or small project with design specifications for new constructions, and other times you might focus on the redevelopment of existing installations.

Dura Vermeer Bouw & Vastgoed in Amsterdam offers a two-year traineeship in Construction & Real Estate, starting in September 2026. This program is tailored for those who have recently completed or are about to finish an MBO level 4 degree in construction. The traineeship provides hands-on experience in the construction sector and helps participants discover where their interests and strengths fit best. Program Structure Work on real construction projects from day one, both on-site and in the office. First year: rotate through roles in execution, calculation, and preparation to build a broad foundation. Second year: choose a focus area such as procurement, project development, business office, BIM coordination, or safety. Collaborate with other trainees on a practical organizational challenge, gaining project management and process improvement experience. Contribute to sustainable, digital, and innovative construction projects across the Amsterdam region. Support and Development Coaches, mentors, and experienced colleagues provide guidance throughout the traineeship.
