Syarah is building data-driven solutions for automotive e-commerce in the region. The team in Amman is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to strengthen and scale core data systems, analytics, and reporting. This is a hands-on position focused on building and maintaining data pipelines, improving data quality, and generating insights that support decisions across product, operations, and finance. The role centers on developing and sustaining Syarah’s data infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Optimize the data platform on GCP, including BigQuery, Dataform, and Cloud Run. Create and manage clean, scalable data models for analytics and reporting. Integrate data from various sources, such as ERP and operational systems. Develop and support APIs (using Flask or similar frameworks) for data access and integration. Monitor and manage data workflows with Airflow or similar tools. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across platforms. Support integration of analytics and tracking tools like Mixpanel and Adjust. Build dashboards and reports for business teams. Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities. Collaborate with finance, product, and operations teams to address data needs. Contribute to automation and internal tools, including AI-related use cases.
