Role Overview: Collision Estimator The Collision Estimator plays a central role at AF Collision, managing repair plans and helping customers understand the repair process. This position requires strong organizational habits, accuracy in data entry, and frequent coordination with insurance companies. Experience in estimating and working with insurance providers is a strong advantage. Main Responsibilities Assess repair costs for labor and parts. Prepare and submit detailed repair estimates. Communicate with customers, suppliers, and insurance representatives. Negotiate repair expenses with insurance adjusters. Create thorough repair plans and documentation. Schedule repair appointments and follow up with clients. Answer incoming calls and provide professional service. Maintain high customer satisfaction scores and manage expectations. What We Look For Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and set priorities in a busy shop. Previous estimating experience in collision repair is a plus. Basic computer skills; familiarity with shop management software is helpful. Clear communication and a customer-focused approach. Reliable, self-motivated, and works well with others.
