As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of all company equipment and assets. Your expertise in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient workplace while adhering to company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Demonstrate proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and the ability to interpret blueprints, ladder logic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to effectively troubleshoot machinery and enhance operational processes.Conduct thorough troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of both preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of plant equipment including Scales, Dumpers, Mixers, Cookers, Chillers, Slicers, Packaging Machines, Conveyors, Palletizers, and Pallet Wrappers.Execute repairs, modifications, and improvements on facility and production equipment utilizing proper techniques and precision.Possess strong comprehension and troubleshooting skills related to computer/PLC-controlled equipment, motor control systems, servo motors, pumping systems, and three-phase industrial electrical systems, along with mechanical knowledge of gear reducers, chain/belt drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, heat exchangers, pumps, piping systems, and vacuum pumps.Capably perform mathematical calculations necessary for maintenance tasks.Implement corrective actions for all levels of equipment/system failures through root cause analysis and effective troubleshooting techniques.Ability to fabricate and weld various metals is advantageous.Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to facilitate the development, execution, and follow-up on maintenance activities.Execute work safely, adhering to policies such as lock-out tag-out (LOTO), Arc-Flash, hot work permits, and confined space entry protocols.Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors and Planners to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Engage in a maintenance culture centered on continuous improvement (Lean), fostering positive morale and high levels of customer service.Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team environment with minimal supervision.Availability to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.Basic understanding of OSHA regulations is preferred.Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.Comfortable working in wet, humid, cold, and hot environments.Work in a refrigerated area with ambient temperatures around 40 degrees.Willingness to walk and stand for extended periods.
