Job Summary We are looking for a compassionate and friendly Optometrist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be essential in delivering comprehensive care to patients in long-term care settings. This position offers a unique chance to positively impact the lives of seniors while collaborating with a team of committed healthcare professionals. You will have the opportunity to communicate with a complete healthcare team, including nurses, primary physicians, health aides, family members, and ophthalmologists, as well as our supportive administrative and professional staff. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive routine and medical eye exams Perform dilated exams Provide diabetic eye evaluations Treat infections and injuries Diagnose and treat ocular diseases Work comfortably with the geriatric population Requirements Doctor of Optometry (OD) license Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on your feet for up to 6-8 hours daily Benefits Paid Time Off Malpractice Insurance Why Work With Us?
