Qualifications
Experience:5-7 years of dedicated experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat research, or security analysis with a strong emphasis on phishing, fraud, or online scams. Demonstrated expertise in analyzing intricate threat data and discerning patterns and trends. Technical Skills:Deep understanding of common attack vectors, malware types, and network protocols. Proficient in OSINT techniques and tools for gathering and analyzing publicly available information. Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and Diamond Model. Experience with various threat intelligence and security operations toolsets. Intermediate to advanced scripting capabilities in languages such as Python or PowerShell for data analysis and automation are highly preferred. Knowledge of email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and their impact on combating phishing. Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their exploitation in online scams. Analytical & Soft Skills:Exceptional analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with the ability to synthesize disparate information into a coherent threat narrative. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences. Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. High degree of curiosity and eagerness to explore dynamic threat landscapes.
