We are seeking a seasoned Sitecore Architect with over 10 years of experience in C#/Dotnet, including at least 2 years of direct involvement with Sitecore. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business needs into robust architecture and detailed design. You should have successfully led a minimum of 2 enterprise-level Sitecore implementations as an Architect or Lead, showcasing your ability to integrate external systems with a CMS.
Your responsibilities will include documenting the overall system architecture—physical, logical, and technical—while providing comprehensive details about its components and functionalities to guide the development team in implementation. Additionally, you will architect large-scale Sitecore solutions, addressing system components like databases, server architecture, and communications frameworks to support Sitecore implementations.
In-depth knowledge of Sitecore Architecture, Design, Common API Classes, and Security Models is essential. You should also possess a solid understanding of enterprise search, analytics, and personalization, along with experience in designing multichannel distribution and social channels. Familiarity with the . Net framework, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and best practices is expected.
Strong relational database experience, particularly in database design and normalization, preferably with MSSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, is a must. Experience in upgrading Sitecore from earlier versions to the latest Sitecore Experience Platform is desirable. You will also need to be well-versed in architectural design patterns, envisioning NFRs, and implementing them effectively.
As part of this role, you will evaluate the current state of architecture and platforms, providing architectural recommendations to enhance maintainability, performance, scalability, and reliability. The ability to conduct a fitment analysis of CMS tools based on high-level business requirements is crucial. Willingness to travel for client engagements in various geographies is required, as well as experience with Agile, iterative, and waterfall development methodologies.
