The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Primavera P6 software and data reporting, alongside a solid grasp of scheduling best practices, resource and cost-loaded scheduling. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders on a daily basis.
As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete service delivery process, ensuring that client objectives are achieved through a value-added approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to develop the master project/program schedule, establishing baselines and critical paths.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement construction schedules.
- Regular travel to construction sites will be necessary.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders, clients, contractors, and subcontractors on a daily basis.
- Create and maintain detailed construction program schedules using Primavera P6 and Tableau in multi-project settings.
- Ensure that schedule-related data from vendors, suppliers, engineering, and construction contractors is accurately integrated into planning and scheduling systems.
- Implement project planning and scheduling strategies, plans, and procedures that reflect both company and contractor roles and expectations.
- Work closely with project managers and construction firms to uphold schedule integrity.
- Provide quality assurance and interface with project functional groups and contractors regarding schedule performance tracking and reporting.
- Organize multiple sources of schedule inputs and performance data into a cohesive master schedule, delivering project/program status reports as needed.
- Prepare and update progress reports for clients, including contributions to monthly project reports and specific presentations.
- Generate high-level and 1, 3, 6-month look-ahead reports from P6 for reporting purposes.
- Conduct probabilistic analysis on integrated and contractor schedules.
- Monitor and communicate potential project issues that might impact the schedule.
- Perform schedule analysis, including critical path and schedule risk analysis for the entire project.
- Identify deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule, highlighting bottlenecks or delays, proposing corrective actions, and assessing the overall impact of any changes.
