Qualifications

Requirements:3 to 5 years of experience in K-12, college, or university construction sectors. Experience working on projects with DSA oversight. Preferred professional degree in construction management, architecture, or related fields such as mechanical or civil engineering, construction technology, interior design, or business administration. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to draft, write, and execute subcontract agreements. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore. Familiarity with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods. A commitment to teamwork and client service. A valid Driver’s License.

The ideal candidate will oversee multiple projects across various sectors including:

  • Multi-Family Residential
  • Ground-Up Developments
  • Tentative Improvements
  • Colleges and Universities
  • K-12 Construction with DSA oversight
  • Specialized Sectors (OSHPD, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review construction plans and specifications for accuracy, prepare General Conditions, and establish baseline schedules for subcontractors and self-performing teams.
  • Track project costs, manage change orders, RFIs, and owner pay applications.
  • Oversee shop drawings and submittals, draft subcontracts and purchase orders, maintain subcontractor relationships, and conduct regular coordination meetings on-site.
  • Manage client interactions and ensure consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
