About the job

Join Phasecraft, a pioneering company in quantum algorithms dedicated to establishing the mathematical foundations for innovative quantum computing applications that tackle real-world challenges. Founded in 2019 by Toby Cubitt, Ashley Montanaro, and John Morton, we operate out of London and Bristol in the UK, with a new office in Washington DC opened in 2024 under the leadership of Steve Flammia. In 2025, we successfully raised $34 million in our Series B funding round, co-led by Plural, Playground Global, and Novo Holdings’ Quantum Fund, marking its first direct investment in quantum software.

With unparalleled access to leading quantum computers through collaborations with industry giants like Google, IBM, Quantinuum, and QuEra, we are uniquely positioned to develop foundational intellectual property, guide the evolution of next-generation quantum hardware, and fast-track the commercialization of groundbreaking advancements.

We are currently in search of a skilled Project Manager to coordinate intricate, multidisciplinary projects spanning engineering and scientific research. This vital role will involve planning, executing, and optimizing our technical programs, ensuring seamless collaboration among cross-functional teams and propelling projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid grasp of R&D workflows, practical experience in applying Agile methodologies in both software and non-software contexts, and the capability to instill structure and predictability amidst the uncertainties of scientific exploration.

Your contributions will be instrumental in scaling our organization by providing clarity and visibility to complex scientific and developmental tasks while empowering teams to operate iteratively and efficiently.
