About the job

Join our dynamic construction team at Open House London Ltd as a seasoned Project Manager. You will lead a talented team throughout the exciting development and fit-out of a prestigious new build project located in SW1. This contract involves a Grade II listed building of approximately 18,000 sqft, spanning 5 ½ floors and currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment that includes a new rear and roof extension. This building will transition to a vibrant mixed retail and hospitality venue starting September 2019.


Core Responsibilities of the Project Manager

  • Thoroughly monitor the cost plan through to the completion of works and meticulously review all costed but incomplete items to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist the Project Director and Site Manager with cost assessments, tendering processes, and management of works in alignment with project budget and timelines.
  • Regularly update and monitor fit-out programmes to reflect current progress.
  • Communicate any delays or disruptions to the Project Director and Site Manager that may impact project schedules.
  • Oversee the negotiation and procurement of day-to-day materials in accordance with company protocols and agreements with the Site Manager.
  • Maintain comprehensive photographic and contemporary records documenting progress, delays, additional works, and any unusual occurrences.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to implement best practices and value engineering within the project.
