About the Role
Orchard Title is in search of a proactive Escrow Officer with an existing book of business to oversee the closing process and deliver exceptional customer experiences for both personal transactions and Orchard Brokerage closings. The ideal candidate is an experienced real estate professional with in-depth knowledge of residential closings. If you thrive in high-stakes, fast-paced environments and have a track record of successfully managing your own pipeline, we want to connect with you! This full-time position will report to the Escrow Manager in your designated market. We welcome applicants from Phoenix, Denver, Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new business opportunities by engaging in sales meetings, attending real estate events, and collaborating with lending and banking partners to enhance capture rates.
- Prepare closing disclosures, escrow agreements, and all necessary settlement documents in accordance with lender and buyer/seller instructions.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams within Customer Experience, Brokerage, Contract Operations, and Funding to swiftly address and resolve any issues that may arise during the Title process.
- Ensure a clear title by resolving title defects, satisfying existing liens and encumbrances on properties or principals, and verifying accurate vesting.
- Balance financials with corresponding invoices and tax obligations.
- Provide accurate lending information and guidance throughout the closing process.
