THE ROLE
The Executive Sponsorship Program (ESP) at Pure Storage is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing executive-to-executive relationships within our World Wide Strategic Accounts.
As the Executive Sponsorship Program Manager, you will own the complete ESP operating model. Your responsibilities will encompass account selection and prioritization, sponsor matching, engagement planning, establishing executive briefing standards, lifecycle governance, and ensuring measurable program outcomes.
This role transcends coordination; it necessitates robust program leadership, executive presence, disciplined execution, and the capacity to influence senior stakeholders across Sales and the executive team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Program Strategy & Operating Model
- Define and oversee the entire ESP engagement lifecycle: intake, prioritization, sponsor matching, engagement planning, execution, debrief, follow-up, and outcome capture.
- Develop and sustain the account selection and tiering framework, assessing strategic priority, expansion potential, renewal risk, and executive relationship gaps.
- Lead quarterly account prioritization reviews in collaboration with Sales leadership.
- Manage sponsor matching and onboarding procedures.
- Set and uphold program standards, cadence structures, and governance practices.
Executive Engagement & Briefing Standards
- Collaborate with Pure Storage executives and account teams to design purposeful executive engagement plans.
- Create and standardize executive briefing materials, including account perspectives, relationship maps, meeting objectives, discussion points, risks, and recommended actions.
- Offer preparation support for critical executive meetings as required.
- Ensure effective follow-up after each executive interaction.
- Facilitate regular executive engagement between Pure Storage leaders and client executives.
Executive Enablement
- Deliver structured sponsor enablement, encompassing one-on-one coaching, outreach frameworks, initial meeting guidance, and relationship-building strategies.
