Role Overview:
As an Executive/Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager in Credit Control, you will play a pivotal role in achieving collection targets, maintaining Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and overseeing invoice submissions and new accounts. You will collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage the collection portfolio for the assigned branch and achieve set collection targets.
● Closely monitor new accounts and work with the sales team to drive collections within the first three months.
● Ensure that invoice submissions by the operations team are timely and accurate.
● Resolve customer queries regarding GST, billing, and other issues promptly.
● Conduct diligent follow-ups with customers for collections.
● Maintain DSO as per company policy.
● Identify and communicate non-payment issues for corrective actions.
● Visit customers with outstanding amounts exceeding 150 days.
● Scrutinize account ledgers and conduct customer reconciliations.
● Review accounts weekly to minimize unapplied cash.
● Adhere strictly to the company’s credit policy.
Key Performance Indicators:
● DSO metrics
● Reduction of 180+ bucket outstanding
● Control over unapplied cash
