ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSCurrently enrolled in a university undergraduate degree program. Must possess the legal right to work in Singapore; only candidates with existing eligibility will be considered. Availability for a full-time, 6-month internship from June to January. Strong passion for the media sector. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively within project teams. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

About the job

The Events & Experiences Intern will play a vital role in supporting the event team across the APAC and EMEA regions in orchestrating a diverse array of CNBC events. This includes live, virtual, and hybrid formats. This position is part of the CNBC Brand Studio, the internal advertising agency of CNBC’s global Ad Sales division, collaborating with renowned clients worldwide.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the production of various CNBC editorial and commercial events, working closely with the International Events Team to develop, plan, and execute strategic event programs aimed at senior executives and policymakers across various industries and government sectors.
  • Engage with vendors and partners efficiently regarding event logistics.
  • Support the audience booking process, which includes curating invitation lists, identifying potential attendees, and securing participants for our leading global events.
  • Utilize diverse channels—desktop research, direct outreach, and relationships with partners—to source contact information.
  • Identify external organizations to collaborate with in order to engage their members at our regional or global events.
  • Communicate essential event details to registered attendees and cultivate relationships to ensure their participation.
  • Assist in departmental analysis and reporting, including preparing presentations and post-event analyses for internal stakeholders to inform future strategies.
  • Provide global insights through market research and audience curation for event proposals.
  • Maintain and update various industry event lists, documents, and charts.
  • Perform additional tasks related to event organization and management as requested by CNBC Brand Studio.
