About Elicit
Elicit is an innovative AI research platform that leverages advanced language models to assist researchers in discerning truths and enhancing their decision-making processes, beginning with fundamental research tasks such as literature reviews.
Our Ambition:
Elicit aims to significantly amplify the quality of reasoning in the world.
For experts, Elicit advances the frontiers of knowledge.
For non-experts, Elicit democratizes access to sound reasoning, enabling those without tools, expertise, time, or mental bandwidth to make informed decisions.
Elicit represents a scalable machine learning system grounded in human-understandable task decompositions, prioritizing process supervision over outcome supervision, which enriches our collective insight into safe AGI architectures.

The Mission of Elicit Evaluations
While some organizations create evaluations to warn us about hazardous capabilities, others focus on identifying trends and forecasting future developments. At Elicit, we are dedicated to a unique mission: we strive to comprehend and enhance models that facilitate superior decision-making.
This challenge is more complex than merely determining user preferences; assessing decision support is inherently difficult, and initial user reactions may not reflect true efficacy in decision-making. Our aim is to excel in this domain, thus positioning AI to genuinely aid in improving decision-making, both within Elicit and in broader contexts.
Why We're Hiring
We are seeking an individual to take charge of the technical framework underpinning our auto-evaluation systems. Currently, our evaluations lack the speed and user-friendliness required for the diverse array of stakeholders – from ML engineers refining models to product managers overseeing quality and customers building trust in outcomes.
The ideal candidate will not only construct the infrastructure but also engage thoughtfully with the implications of Elicit's role in decision-making within the pharmaceutical sector, translating that understanding into our evaluation systems.
