About the Role

As the Equity Operations Lead, you will play a crucial role in establishing and expanding our global equity program. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the cap table, validating vested and exercised options and warrants, and optimizing our Shareworks platform. You will navigate the complexities of multi-jurisdictional operations, particularly in the UK. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking professional who can proactively enhance our equity infrastructure for a post-IPO landscape and seamlessly connect Shareworks data with our financial systems. This position offers the exciting opportunity to build a team and processes from the ground up while collaborating with a world-class team.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and maintain the cap table, addressing any discrepancies and issuing share certificates as necessary.

  • Ensure the accuracy of vested and exercised options and warrants, maintaining data integrity across all equity records.

  • Lead the implementation and continuous optimization of Shareworks as our equity management platform.

  • Connect Shareworks data to downstream accounting and financial reporting systems accurately.

  • Develop and document equity operations processes and controls from scratch.

  • Manage equity activities across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, especially in the UK.

  • Collaborate closely with finance, legal, and accounting teams to facilitate equity-related reporting and audits.

  • Proactively strategize on post-IPO equity structures, including transitioning RSUs to single-trigger vesting, ensuring scalability of the program.

  • Recruit and nurture a high-performing equity operations team over time.
