Required Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years old. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with hazardous materials. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Able to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including eye protection, steel-toed shoes, hard hats, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirators. Preferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.2+ years of experience in sampling and receiving hazardous waste. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA regulations. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field is advantageous. Familiarity with Windows-based programs such as Excel and Word.

About the job

As an Environmental Technician III at Clean Earth, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily production operations. Your effective communication skills will be essential in collaborating with team members and coordinating with various departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the segregation and packaging of materials, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and promptly in line with Clean Earth standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the safe separation and packing of hazardous materials for transport.
  • Collect samples of incoming waste for laboratory analysis.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.
