Engage with lead and involved agencies to ensure compliance with procedural requirements. Work collaboratively with planners, engineers, architects, and legal professionals throughout the land use and environmental approval processes. Lead or participate in community engagement and public meetings. Learn from and track project progress with senior project managers, maintaining accurate records within environmental review systems. Build and maintain client relationships and develop proposals. Minimum Qualifications:Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in environmental review, land use planning, or environmental analysis. Proven experience with CEQR, SEQRA, and NEPA. Strong understanding of New York City zoning and land use processes. Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications:Possession of or progress towards AICP certification.
