Adhere to safety protocols and standards on all projects, partaking in pre-task planning and reporting any safety concerns to management. Maintain high-quality standards throughout all projects. Entry-level engineering role designed to cultivate knowledge and skills. Assist in research, data collection, field observations, inspections, and both field and laboratory testing. Draft associated reports or sections of larger documents. Evaluate routine laboratory and field data for report inclusion. Collaborate with technical personnel and supervisors on routine projects. Conduct basic calculations and engineering analyses as necessary. Prepare standard proposals and support the drafting of more complex proposals. Coordinate with engineering technician teams in data collection activities on project sites and produce daily reports documenting findings. Work under the guidance of a Professional Engineer.

  • Deliver engineering and consulting expertise across diverse projects and clientele.
  • Lead and conduct field investigations, engineering analyses, calculations, and recommendations.
  • Design and develop comprehensive plans and specifications, overseeing inspections and observations while preparing, writing, and reviewing related reports.
  • Evaluate drawings and construction processes to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates, monitor project progress and budgets, and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Investigate and resolve design and construction challenges. Analyze, review, and incorporate laboratory or field data into reports.
  • Utilize sound engineering principles to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide services for both existing and proposed projects spanning public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial sectors.
