Position Summary

As a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and safety of various construction projects. This role involves independently collecting and testing material samples from various job sites, conducting inspections, and using specialized equipment in adherence to established procedures and standards. Your findings will be documented and communicated to project managers and stakeholders, promoting informed decision-making that upholds the structural integrity and safety of construction endeavors.

This position requires travel to diverse job sites and working in varying terrain and weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Utilizing a company vehicle for transportation to and from job sites.
  • Receiving personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
  • Participating in work boot reimbursement programs.
  • Using a company-issued laptop.
  • Cell phone reimbursement options available.
  • Engaging in comprehensive training, mentorship opportunities, and hands-on experience by shadowing experienced professionals.
