Qualifications:1-3+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer within the SaaS or enterprise software sectors. Proven technical leadership and exceptional customer-facing skills. Excellent communication abilities (written, verbal, and presentation), with a talent for articulating technical concepts to non-technical personnel in large enterprises.

We are in search of an Enterprise Solutions Engineer who will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise throughout the inside sales process. As a trusted advisor, you will guide clients in the successful deployment and adoption of Smartsheet solutions.

This prominent position is part of our Enterprise Sales team and will report directly to the Manager of Enterprise Solutions Engineering.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Become a recognized Smartsheet expert, developing comprehensive knowledge in workflow definition and solution design.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to deliver dynamic technical demonstrations of the Smartsheet SaaS platform, integrations, and add-ons.
  • Work in tandem with fellow Solutions Engineers to craft inventive solutions tailored to customer requirements utilizing Smartsheet.
  • Identify, construct, and present Smartsheet solutions that effectively address specific customer challenges.
  • Foster strong relationships with sales teams to ensure successful sales engagements, which may include providing daily product and technical support to cross-functional partners.
  • Assist in preparing technical responses to inquiries from prospects, FAQs, and knowledge base entries; help establish best practices for widespread usage across large enterprises.
  • Engage with Product teams to align offerings with customer needs.
  • Occasionally support marketing events by traveling onsite to represent Smartsheet, showcase the platform, and connect with customers or prospects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
