About the Role

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Enterprise Field Solutions Engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area or the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Cloud Security, IoT Systems, Networking, Linux systems, Security Surveillance, and Access Control. This role involves collaborating closely with account executives to broaden Verkada's market presence within Fortune 500 companies. Key responsibilities include engaging directly with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle, addressing technical challenges, assisting in deployment design, and offering technical support to account representatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of motivation, adaptability, and the ability to work independently, delivering impactful results remotely.

What You'll Do

  • Technical Leader: Serve as the subject matter expert for Verkada's complete range of products and effectively communicate their added-value benefits to customers during the sales process.
  • Objection Handler: Navigate and resolve objections while securing technical victories for Verkada.
  • Evangelist: Present Verkada's solutions to various customer tiers, from C-level executives to loss prevention managers and IT directors. Train and educate partners, customers, and internal staff on the latest Verkada product offerings.
  • This position entails significant travel, estimated at over 50% of the time, including both domestic and international destinations. The successful candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel to support business operations, customer engagements, and team collaboration.
