As an Enterprise Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our teams have the necessary tools to work in a secure and seamless environment. Your Role in Enhancing Security
In this exciting position, you will take charge of implementing and overseeing the security measures for OpenAI's internal information systems. Working closely with our IT and Security teams, you will enhance our security capabilities, enforce robust security policies, and proactively monitor our systems for potential threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and enforce security protocols to safeguard our information assets from unauthorized access and misuse.
- Continuously monitor internal and external systems for vulnerabilities and promptly respond to security alerts.
- Collaborate on the development and enforcement of IT and Security policies and procedures.
- Partner with the IT department to strengthen our infrastructure using industry best practices across platforms like AzureAD, GSuite, and Github.
- Guide employees on best practices for securing their endpoints, including office audio-visual and network setups.
- Implement innovative data sharing controls and monitoring systems, including intelligent group management and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Utilize modern security models such as “secure by default” and “zero trust” to create an enduringly secure work environment.
- Identify and address vulnerabilities within our systems, adhering to top data security practices.
- Leverage AI-driven models to enhance security detection, response, and data classification efforts.
- Provide training and resources to educate employees on the importance of data security and maintaining a secure workspace.
