Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets of over $1M and handling deals averaging $100k+. Ability to independently build and maintain a sales pipeline. Prior experience with innovative technology companies (SaaS or IT infrastructure preferred). Proficient in selling to Fortune 1000 companies and acquiring new clients. Open to regular travel to client locations for business meetings.

Your primary focus will be to identify the challenges organizations encounter as they transition to or expand within a cloud environment, and to provide tailored Datadog solutions that address these needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with large Fortune 1000 companies and manage an effective sales pipeline.
  • Establish and nurture relationship maps for your territory, identifying both existing and potential contacts.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of your customers’ business challenges.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing and business terms, focusing on the value and return on investment of our solutions.
  • Balance customer expectations while deepening engagement within your assigned territory.
  • Exhibit creativity and resourcefulness when confronted with complex challenges.
  • Possess a keen understanding of the steps necessary to close deals and secure customer validation.
  • Identify key business drivers that influence opportunities.
  • Ensure high accuracy and consistency in sales forecasts.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A sales professional with 3+ years of experience in closing deals, particularly within the mid-market and enterprise sectors, focusing on insurance and traditional conglomerates in the Hong Kong market.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals of $1M+, with an average deal size of $100k+.
  • Capable of independently prospecting and generating a robust sales pipeline.
  • Experience in an innovative tech environment (preferably SaaS or IT infrastructure).
  • Successful in securing new business from large Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to client sites, utilizing various modes of transportation based on business requirements.
