Your Responsibilities: Engage with Fortune 1000 companies, driving an efficient sales process. Develop and maintain comprehensive relationship maps for your territory, focusing on both existing and prospective contacts. Acquire a deep understanding of customer business needs. Negotiate advantageous pricing and business terms by highlighting the value and ROI of Datadog's offerings. Manage existing customer expectations while expanding your influence within the assigned territory. Show creativity and resourcefulness when confronted with complex challenges. Possess an intuitive understanding of the steps necessary to close business and secure customer validation. Identify key business drivers for all opportunities. Ensure accurate forecasting and consistent performance metrics. Who You Are: You have 3+ years of experience in closing sales, with a focus on mid-market or enterprise clients. You are results-driven, having consistently met or exceeded sales targets of over £1M with an average deal size of £100K or more. You possess a demonstrated ability to prospect and build a sales pipeline independently. You have experience working in an innovative tech company, preferably in SaaS or IT infrastructure. You have a track record of selling to large Fortune 1000 companies and successfully acquiring new clients. This role requires regular travel to client sites within your territory and beyond, utilizing various modes of transportation based on business needs.
