Role Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in open-source technology to engage with global enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess experience in driving sales for early-stage enterprise solutions within an entrepreneurial environment. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in our expansion strategy and customer acquisition efforts. You will serve as the primary contact for prospects and represent Kong to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the Kong Enterprise Platform to enterprise clients.

  • Achieve individual sales quotas and objectives.

  • Manage your portfolio by understanding buying criteria, documenting processes, maintaining pipeline accuracy, and driving leads to closure.

  • Provide leadership and guidance throughout the pre- and post-sales process and analyze outcomes to identify areas of improvement.

  • Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary (30% - 50% travel required).

Qualifications:
