Role overview
The Engineering Team Lead - Infrastructure & Operations leads the IO team from Sydney. This group builds and maintains Kasada’s scalable cloud computing platform, which supports efforts to stop automated attacks and online fraud. Adversaries use sophisticated automation and device farms, so the team’s defenses must evolve rapidly. This is a hands-on technical leadership position, combining people management with a strong focus on product outcomes and engineering strategy.
What you will do
- Guide and mentor the Infrastructure & Operations engineering team
- Design and build scalable, resilient cloud platforms
- Promote engineering best practices and architectural patterns
- Support other teams to ensure reliable, high-performance, and cost-effective workloads
- Balance hands-on technical work with developing and managing team members
- Help define and deliver the engineering roadmap with a product-focused approach
