About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Program Manager to spearhead the development of Fourier’s commercial on-site hydrogen production system. The Fourier engineering team thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment, focused on problem-solving and advancing technological progress. Candidates should be adept at engaging with engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, from architecture and design to implementation and validation of complex industrial hardware products.

1. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of programs from concept to launch, defining scope, timelines, deliverables, and critical milestones.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary liaison among hardware engineering, manufacturing, product, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment and that all stakeholders are progressing towards common goals.

  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and facilitate resolutions to ensure program success.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate program status, risks, and key decisions to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and visibility into the program's overall health.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance program management processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Must-Have Experience

  • Technical Background: Solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, with a comprehensive understanding of system architectures and engineering trade-offs. Must be comfortable engaging with engineering teams to probe for information and challenge assumptions.

  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines, particularly in an early-stage startup environment. Proven experience in making informed decisions and trade-offs based on incomplete or evolving data.
