We are seeking an Engineering Manager to become a pivotal member of our London team. In this role, you will lead, develop, and expand teams of top-tier engineers, ensuring their technical execution and effectiveness as we navigate through uncertainties in our scaling process. This position is based in our London office with a hybrid work model, typically requiring 3 days in the office.

Your Responsibilities
In this position, you will guide a multi-disciplinary team of engineers across various platforms. You will report to a Senior Engineering Manager or Engineering Director, contributing to the evolution of our three-sided marketplace.
Your daily tasks may include:
Lead and develop a diverse team of Backend, iOS, Android, and Web engineers, nurturing a high-achieving environment.
Steer technical and product strategy by establishing clear project objectives, guiding implementation decisions, and ensuring your team meets collective metrics.
Promote a culture of learning through active mentorship, aiding engineers and emerging leaders in advancing their careers.
Enhance our engineering practices by establishing processes and values that boost team efficiency and code quality.
Stay technically engaged by participating in code reviews and technical design, ensuring the health and observability of your team’s systems.
What You Need to Succeed
We are looking for candidates who possess strong expertise in some of the following areas, along with a desire to learn in others:
Proven experience in people management, with a minimum of 2 years leading engineering teams through performance reviews and development cycles.
