Team Overview:

The Brain Interfaces Team is at the forefront of designing, manufacturing, and testing all systems related to our implants and chargers. Our projects encompass electrical and mechanical testing frameworks, custom manufacturing jigs and fixtures, electronics packaging, and tooling that connects our implants with surgical robots.

Your Role:

As the Engineering Lab Manager, you will play a critical role in fostering an environment that empowers our engineering and manufacturing teams to innovate and deliver next-generation medical devices. Your responsibilities will extend beyond equipment and facility management; you will be a vital contributor to our operational success, ensuring that lab spaces are optimized for collaboration and efficiency. You will be instrumental in driving the company's growth by facilitating innovation, streamlining operations, and maximizing resource use. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design and optimize lab spaces that adapt to the evolving needs of our teams.
  • Enhancing lab operations by integrating new technologies and improving workflows.
  • Managing inventory of lab equipment, tools, chemicals, and consumables.
  • Implementing proactive maintenance strategies and establishing systems for lab organization and cleanliness, while providing training for users.
  • Constructing prototypes, conducting tests, and offering hands-on technical support to engineers using your expertise in engineering and lab operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout lab operations.
