Cross-disciplinary integration: Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to diagnose issues and improve system performance. Data-driven iteration: Use deployment data to inform design changes and increase reliability. Full-stack subsystem ownership: Take projects from CAD design through PCB integration and bench testing. Requirements Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Outstanding personal projects, GitHub work, or portfolios may be considered for students earlier in their studies. Solid understanding of mechanical and electromechanical design, including dynamic loading and finite element analysis (FEA). Familiarity with embedded systems and mechatronic components such as CAN, BLDC control, and motor controllers. Experience with CAD tools (NX, OnShape, SolidWorks) and rapid prototyping methods like 3D printing or laser cutting. Basic skills in electrical design and debugging, including reading schematics, soldering, and using test equipment.
