Roles and Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience in wastewater modelling, particularly focusing on model calibration and verification for the ANZ and UK & I regions. Proficiency in using Infoworks ICM hydraulic modelling software is essential.
- Experience with additional modelling tools such as Water GEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and GeoPak is advantageous. Familiarity with Wet Utilities, including Potable Water, Storm Water Drainage, Treated Sewage Effluent, and Sewerage network design (both pressure and gravity systems) utilizing AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a Common Data Environment, such as ProjectWise and BIM 360. The candidate should be capable of leading projects, coordinating with the Lead Office, mentoring junior staff, and conducting quality checks.
- Provide training and technical support to design teams on the Building Information Modeling (BIM) system, facilitating 3D model creation based on project specifications and content planning across various projects. Leverage AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge from concept through to completion.
- Engage in the development of concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering drawings and plans, including general plans, drainage plan drawings, plan/profile drawings, and section drawings. Execute design tasks according to specified standards, covering earthworks modelling and design, sanitary and storm sewer design, water main design, road grading, lot grading, and stormwater management design for ponds and retention systems.
