Qualifications
The Engagement Accounting Analyst is a key role within AlixPartners' Corporate Services Accounting team, serving as a vital business partner to client engagement teams and the finance department to ensure effective management of working capital. Your core responsibilities will include overseeing work in progress and managing accounts receivables, with an emphasis on accurate client invoicing and adherence to company policies while facilitating prompt cash collection. In this full-time position based in London, reporting to the Engagement Accounting Manager, you will:Supervise work in progress on client engagements and collaborate effectively with engagement teams to prepare and dispatch client invoices punctually, adhering to contract terms. Stay informed about client contracts, including addendums and extensions, to assess their impact on invoicing and working capital management. Execute time and expense fee adjustments, write-offs, transfers, and/or applications of advances and retainers as per established review and approval protocols. Proactively address issues and concerns related to accounts receivable and work in progress to ensure accurate invoicing and timely cash collections. Utilize sound judgment in managing unique and urgent situations, including time-sensitive, nonstandard, and complex matters. Exhibit positive interpersonal skills, supporting your colleagues and contributing to a cohesive team environment. Communicate proactively with team members and drive efficiencies within the entire order to cash value stream.
