About the job

Resource Innovations is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Energy Efficiency Project Engineer to enhance our expanding team in Indiana or Kentucky. Ideal candidates will possess a robust background in commercial and industrial custom energy management and demand-side management (DSM) program engineering. In this role, you will empower clients by providing the necessary support and tools to identify, quantify, and implement financially viable energy-efficiency projects.

As a women-led energy transformation firm, Resource Innovations is dedicated to making a significant impact in the field of energy efficiency. Our commitment to innovation drives us to expand our clean energy solutions portfolio, assisting utilities in navigating the complexities of load flexibility, electrification, and carbon reduction. We are at the forefront of empowering change in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the execution of both prescriptive and custom energy efficiency projects, which may involve energy modeling, economic analysis, and simulations to assess the energy impacts of recommendations (using spreadsheets and/or energy modeling software). Develop project scopes, summarize implementation details, and convey operational impacts.

  • Perform measurement and verification (M&V) site visits to analyze facility energy usage patterns, uncover energy savings opportunities, and confirm the successful installation of energy-saving projects. This may involve installing field monitoring equipment, gathering BAS trend data, completing functional performance tests, and collaborating with customers and contractors.

  • Deliver high-quality, professional services, building rapport quickly with utility customers.
  • Produce deliverables that exhibit technical excellence, objectivity, and clarity while adhering to project budgets and timelines.
