The Role
As a Relief Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be a vital member of our emergency care team, responding to a variety of situations where every moment counts. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of emergencies, from minor to critical cases, working closely with our veterinarians to deliver exceptional, empathetic care. This position requires a dynamic individual who is eager to apply their training, expand their skills, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of pets and their families during challenging times.
Your Responsibilities
- Treat every patient and client with the utmost respect and care—because they matter! You will be a steadfast presence throughout their journey, from diagnostics to treatment and beyond.
- Act decisively to provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments, from initial triage to discharge.
- Administer medications and monitor patients, showcasing your expertise in procedures ranging from IV placements to blood transfusions.
- Collaborate effectively with your team, communicating openly and shaping care plans to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional; we provide extensive training and have a high number of RECOVER CPR experts on staff.
