THE JOB

As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role on the front lines of emergency veterinary medicine, where timely and accurate care is essential. You will be involved in a wide spectrum of cases, from routine emergencies to more complex situations, working closely with our veterinarians and support staff to provide top-notch, empathetic care. Your responsibilities will include triage, diagnostic testing, treatment administration, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical nursing care, all while offering reassurance and support to concerned pet owners during their most challenging times. This position is ideal for individuals eager to apply their training, enhance their skills, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide exceptional care to every patient and pet owner, ensuring their needs are met at every stage of the emergency process.
  • Act decisively to deliver nursing care and emotional support during critical situations, from initial assessment to discharge.
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs, demonstrating your expertise in procedures such as IV placements and blood transfusions.
  • Collaborate effectively with your team, contributing to care plans and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Stay prepared to execute CPR as a certified RECOVER professional, benefiting from our extensive training and support.
