Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and troubleshoot embedded firmware in C/C++ for STM32, ESP32, RP2040, or similar microcontrollers. Design and assess mixed-signal printed circuit boards (PCBs) using KiCad or Altium. Integrate various sensors, radios, and power electronics utilizing reliable, low-latency communication interfaces (I²C, SPI, UART, CAN). Analyze and enhance power budgets, electromagnetic interference (EMI) performance, and manufacturability of designs. Conduct bring-up, testing, and validation of hardware prototypes through design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) cycles. Assist in system integration and provide field debugging support for deployed robotic platforms. Adapt to the fast-paced and demanding environment of an early-stage startup, including extended hours and fieldwork. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. U. S. permanent residency is required.
