Required Qualifications:Proven leadership abilities and a deep understanding of security dynamics within Mexico, particularly regarding the risks faced by the Group's companies and their personnel. Demonstrated experience in managing urgent security incidents and working effectively under pressure. A minimum of 10 years' experience in private or public security and/or law enforcement. A robust network of contacts within security and justice institutions to facilitate the resolution of pertinent incidents affecting companies or personnel.

The appointed candidate will operate from the Client's offices in Mexico City for an initial twelve-month period, overseeing operational and asset security (non-HSE) throughout various power generation activities nationwide, with a particular emphasis on the safety of our client’s personnel during their business travels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments focusing on asset security for upcoming projects, particularly those in high-risk areas, as requested by the commercial team or project leads. Additionally, monitor security during business trips undertaken by personnel.
  • Implement the General Crisis Management Policy and established corporate security incident response plans.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on personal safety for travelers, incident response protocols, and other related topics as mandated by executives or requesting departments.
  • Lead the response coordination and management during serious incidents affecting operations or personnel transfers, including sensitive situations such as kidnapping, extortion, robbery, and confrontations.
  • Assist in supervising security services at various sites (offices, projects, warehouses) in collaboration with designated project managers.
  • Ensure proper adherence to emergency protocols, including panic button usage and vehicle GPS systems.
