This Embedded Firmware Engineer role centers on designing and developing firmware for advanced embedded systems, particularly in aerospace and defense contexts. The position requires hands-on experience with embedded software, microcontroller programming, and system integration. The engineer will work closely with Mach's software team and contribute directly to the company's technical achievements.

What you will do

  • Software system design: Create firmware to control embedded systems for weaponry applications.
  • Prototyping and testing: Source components, define firmware requirements, integrate systems, and troubleshoot embedded designs to meet performance and quality expectations.
  • Embedded systems controls: Develop control algorithms for movement and operation within weapons platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded designs into larger projects.
  • Hardware interaction: Partner with hardware engineers to ensure seamless communication between software and hardware.
  • Continuous learning: Keep up with new technologies and methods in embedded systems engineering.
  • Quality assurance: Ensure software designs and integrations meet quality standards and best practices.
