Personalized Feedback: Individualized feedback is crucial for your development as a leader and is a key factor in transforming our schools from good to great. Throughout your Fellowship, you will receive both formal and informal feedback during school engagements, professional development sessions, and cross-regional Fellow cohort gatherings. This will include insights from your Host Principal, the Regional Superintendent of Instruction, and the Senior Director of School Support.2. Immersive School Experience: By fully integrating into the daily operations of an Uncommon school, you will encounter the diverse challenges of school leadership. You will collaborate with your Host Principal and the Senior Director of School Support to strategize on mastering vital leadership competencies such as Instructional Leadership, Teacher Development, School Culture, and Family Engagement. As a Principal Fellow, you will take an active role in your learning journey, seeking and planning for opportunities to demonstrate your leadership potential.3. Continuous Professional Development: Engage in monthly professional development sessions alongside our Principals and cohort members. These sessions will focus on the latest instructional leadership and people management best practices, enhancing your leadership skills. Additionally, you will participate in cohort-specific workshops that allow for more hands-on practice and direct application of your learning in real school settings.
