Role + Responsibilities:
We are looking for an R&D Electronics Technician to join our impactful team in accelerating the development and enhancement of our core hardware. You will play a pivotal role in executing complex PCBA rework and harness repairs while working in close collaboration with our engineering team to transform innovative concepts into tangible products.
Key Responsibilities include:
Conduct intricate soldering and rework on through-hole and SMT components, adhering to IPC and JSTD standards.
Facilitate the swift iteration of electronic components and harnesses, acting as a bridge between engineering designs and functional prototypes.
Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly of PCBAs into finished products and integrated systems.
Oversee specialized coating processes, including conformal coating application, masking, and epoxy application.
Interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and schematics to ensure build accuracy.
Assist in the development of production processes for initial production runs, establishing standards for future scalability.
Work closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot hardware and provide hands-on feedback to enhance design manufacturability.
Monitor work progress against area benchmarks to ensure timely delivery of critical R&D milestones.
