Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering. Proven experience in implementing engineering or infrastructure projects. Experience in administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with EO systems is an advantage. Highly motivated with a commitment to continuous learning in EO technologies. Possess a positive attitude, self-motivation, creativity, and a customer-centric approach. Ability to work independently, diligently, and under pressure. Willingness to manage emergencies outside standard working hours when necessary. Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.[Singaporeans only]

About the job

As an Electro-Optics Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation and commissioning of Electro-Optics (EO) systems. Your expertise will drive the technical design and execution of projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that prioritize customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and implementation of EO system projects.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support the Project Manager in all facets of project execution, including EO system design and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee EO systems configurations, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring system performance.
  • Provide proactive solutions to preempt issues and address technical challenges as they arise.
  • Engage effectively with external partners and users.
  • Collect business and application requirements to inform system planning, design, installation, testing, and implementation, ensuring alignment with customer commitments.
  • Continuously monitor and assess system performance and availability, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Respond swiftly to incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and offering timely resolutions and updates.
  • Implement service continuity measures, including backup and restore procedures and disaster recovery plans to maintain uninterrupted operations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all project implementations.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and solution presentations.
  • Promote effective business operations across regions and coordinate with the wider global business.
  • Achieve key certifications in partnership with major vendors.
