Job Overview:
The Electrical Project Manager is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of electrical projects at AMCON. This role encompasses financial oversight, schedule management, client interactions, and overall project delivery. The Project Manager will synchronize efforts between field operations, estimating teams, and executive leadership while upholding AMCON’s dedication to excellence, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Guide project teams to achieve project goals on time and within budget while adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Facilitate transparent communication among superintendents, field teams, and clients throughout all phases of the project.
- Promote a safety-first culture within AMCON, ensuring all project teams comply with safety practices set by the company, clients, and regulations.
Financial Oversight:
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost control systems to meet financial objectives.
- Prepare change orders, billings, and cost-to-complete estimates to uphold profitability.
Documentation Management:
- Ensure all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change management logs, are accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate project efforts with design teams, vendors, and subcontractors effectively.
Schedule Management:
- Develop and maintain project timelines and communicate schedules to internal teams and clients.
- Proactively identify and address schedule risks through strategic planning and resource coordination.
Problem Solving:
- Identify potential project challenges and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Act as the main escalation point for operational and client issues.
- Tackle technical challenges to ensure projects meet performance and safety criteria.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture long-term client relationships through consistent communication and outstanding project delivery.
- Represent AMCON with professionalism in all interactions with clients and partners.
