YOUR MISSION

True Anomaly is seeking a creative and experienced Electrical Engineer to devise and design harness assemblies and routing for spacecraft and testing setups. Your designs will connect the electronic and power subsystems within the spacecraft, including power, propulsion, guidance and navigation, as well as data and telemetry systems. The design and implementation of harnessing are vital components of the spacecraft systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop 3D harness routes that consider bend radius, separation, and maintainability while managing technical trade studies.
  • Create electrical interconnect diagrams and schematics by defining point-to-point connections for power, signals, and data links, while demonstrating an understanding of grounding and shielding principles.
  • Collaborate and interface with various team members, including engineering, program management, production, and quality, while generating 3D models of harness designs using SolidWorks software.
  • Analyze harnesses according to relevant quality and reliability standards.
  • Design and develop test equipment for IR/DWV testing.
  • Integrate harness routing within spacecraft and test equipment.
  • Support production and quality assurance efforts to resolve challenges and ensure that builds align with design intentions.
  • Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and utilize the ERP system for production coordination.
