Role Overview Ramboll is hiring a Lead Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Singapore. This position leads engineering teams through the design and delivery of electrical and instrumentation systems across multiple projects. What You Will Do Guide engineering teams in developing and implementing electrical and instrumentation solutions. Oversee project timelines and ensure deliverables meet established schedules. Utilize SAP proficiently to monitor and schedule ICE preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) work orders, maintain the ICE master equipment list, develop PM plans, and initiate purchase requisitions for spare parts. Engage with external authorities to secure approvals for maintenance requests related to Natural Gas Equipment. Ensure effective communication and coordination with external vendors and contractors, facilitating site surveys, safety induction courses, and execution of site activities. Review and validate Method Statements and risk assessments relevant to each job. Follow up and verify that all job closeouts are accurately completed in SAP. Initiate purchase requisitions in SAP, detailing scope of supply and spare part specifications, while collaborating with the Procurement Department to evaluate vendor quotations for maintenance services and monitor delivery of spare parts and materials. Assist in the preparation of the Maintenance budget, providing forecasts, and overseeing budget management. Apply for Jurong Island Pass sponsorship for external vendors as required.

Deliver expert technical support and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of the Production and Maintenance teams regarding instrument-related challenges. Collaborate proactively with both teams to identify strategies for minimizing instrument maintenance costs while maximizing availability and operational functionality. Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies, to ensure compliance with standards related to gas pipeline networks and electrical power grids, as well as instrument and metering interfaces. Develop and maintain up-to-date maintenance procedures for all instrumentation, PLCs, Fire & Gas systems, Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems, metering, CCTV, and security equipment. Perform thorough root cause analyses on instrument-related incidents and propose effective preventive and corrective measures to avert future occurrences. Lead Management of Change (MOCs) projects aimed at improving instrument reliability and resolving operational issues from engineering through to commissioning. Conduct verification, inspection, testing, and reporting on all electrical and instrument equipment used for maintenance, ensuring compliance with hazardous area certification requirements. Contribute to the execution of maintenance activities and significant equipment turnarounds within the terminal. Oversee the functional safety lifecycle of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) within the terminal. Support facility expansion projects by ensuring integrity and seamless integration with existing plant operations, capturing all potential optimization opportunities. Participate in emergency response initiatives and assume specific roles and responsibilities as required.
