A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, modeling, or analyzing mixed-signal electrical circuits. Proficiency in circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice. Exceptional organizational, communication, and troubleshooting abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Analysis Engineer, you will play a critical role in the analysis of circuits within Archer's high voltage battery management system. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and reliability of our innovative aircraft.

  • Conduct thorough circuit schematic analyses, collaborating with safety engineers to identify potential single-point failures.
  • Evaluate the system-level implications of individual component failures within printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
  • Aggregate power consumption data of the BMS PCBAs across various operational modes and correlate findings with laboratory tests.
  • Perform worst-case accuracy analyses on measurement circuits.
  • Utilize circuit simulation tools to model and analyze hardware circuits to support accuracy evaluations.
  • Employ software for automated circuit analysis to facilitate schematic-level Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEAs).
  • Assess the system-level impacts of single-event upsets and latch-ups.
  • Collaborate with reliability engineers to understand electrical operating conditions and determine failure rates.
  • Carry out electrical stress analyses and component derating evaluations for individual components.
  • Work closely with design engineers to ensure BMS hardware meets Archer's stringent safety, accuracy, and reliability standards.
