- A strong proficiency in dynamic programming languages including JavaScript, PHP, and HTML5, along with a contemporary understanding of emerging programming languages.
- Expertise in designing websites that efficiently manage and process substantial amounts of information in diverse formats.
- Ability to create websites tailored for regulatory state agencies, ensuring the secure handling of confidential information.
- Experience in developing responsive websites that function seamlessly across all device types: desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Proficient in metadata best practices such as meta descriptions, keywords, Google Analytics, and various search engine algorithms.
- Capability to design a multi-user website, allowing simultaneous edits, administrative delegation of tasks, and user privilege management.
- Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal for users who may not have a background in traditional programming languages.
- Designing websites that allow for daily content backups, whether through cron jobs or manual processes, and the ability to export or download uploaded content.
- Integration of analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track website usage by both the public and practitioners.
