JOB SUMMARY
As a Restaurant Hostess at Palazzo Versace Dubai, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring exceptional service standards are upheld. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the overall ambiance of our renowned dining venue.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Arrive punctually, exuding enthusiasm and a genuine smile.
Represent the outlet with genuine hospitality and friendly greetings at the reception.
Maintain a well-groomed appearance according to company standards throughout your shift.
Foster a friendly and pleasant demeanor towards guests and team members.
Adhere to payroll and uniform guidelines diligently.
Prepare the host/hostess stand, review the reservation book, and make recommendations for room setup.
Open the restaurant punctually for business at the beginning of each shift.
Inspect the cleanliness of the dining room sections and ensure tables are properly set before opening.
Retrieve daily menus and ensure they are neatly inserted into their covers.
Check each menu for cleanliness and quality, ensuring an immaculate appearance.
Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the menus, including ingredients and daily unavailability.
Assign seating based on service standards and operational flow.
Understand server stations, their assignments, timing patterns, and maximum workload capacity.
Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing the open table system.
Ensure each guest receives the highest quality of service and support for any requests.
Greet guests promptly and courteously, maintaining eye contact, a smile, and good posture.
Bid farewell to each departing customer warmly and invite them back.
Handle lost and found items responsibly.
Address any guest dissatisfaction immediately and report to management.
Answer telephones in accordance with Palazzo Versace standards, assisting with reservations and information requests.
Anticipate guest needs while continuously scanning the room.
Respond appropriately to any hotel emergencies or safety situations.
Oversee cleanliness and quality of menus.
Monitor reservations and manage accordingly, including special occasions and cancellations.
Assist the service team with additional tasks as needed.
